Learning through living
I have this attitude to life that I am here to learn as much as possible. Every day I do several things to learn and at the same time I try to remember to share some of the tools and knowledge with the kids. I like to challenge myself and that's also part of why I am writing in english now.
Our days aren't scheduled around a time table like the ones in many schools that have set hours for learning different classes limited around resources like time and teachers.
I am always learning how to find OUR best way to get the best flow and optimal learning. It is created through trying and evaluating all along the way. If only you had a little glimpse of how this actually looks inside my mind that loves schemes and lists you may have been surprised. On the outside it may look random, but believe me, it's not.
Everything from how the interaction and collaboration with our community goes dependent of different factors, to meals and nutrition, to our needs for attachment, autonomy, acknowledgement and etcetcetc.....
And at the same time making it all look effortless. Hahahaha.
I am actually trying to learn to go with the flow, but that does not mean letting everything float. Lol.
With the recent events like the child at the beach we have reflected upon this a lot. We also have friends that may have a different world view than us and that makes a good opportunity to take a range check to see if our current world view nurtures us and our surroundings. I am reminding myself every day that we live in a friendly universe and have several tools to help me see events from several perspectives. Like Byron Katies The Work.
We use visualization to manifest and focus our minds and energy, and here my boy has made me a visual presentation of what I might like to order for our future. I had several options to choose from and I was very amused by his imagination with coming up with this. He even put a price tag on the objects and I was lucky enough that some of the options was on offer just for me.
My girl made this drawing of me as an ice fairy covered in snow and that is exactly one of the images I keep in mind when I focus upon how I want to bear myself in the world. Smiling with grace, floating among snow flakes underneath the stars.
